NAVIGATING UNCERTAINTY: RESILIENCE IN 2024
Sept 4th 5:30pm - 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm - 6:30pm CT / 2:30pm - 4:30pm PT
What a year! 2024 has been another tumultuous one and we, at The OC, are hearing from movement partners that the rollercoaster of uncertainty is making resilience and hope challenging. We know that hope is a practice and one of the ways we find it is to build connection with others and develop practices that support us to stay grounded.
In the vein we are offering a free, in person event to bring us together, to hear from long-time organizers about how they face challenging conditions, to share lessons with each other and to, hopefully, build or nurture some relationships. We will also be livestreaming the event for anyone not able to join us in person.
Date: Wednesday, September 4th
Time: 5:30pm- 7:30pm ET/ 4:30- 6:30pm CT/ 2:30- 4:30pm PT
Location: Friends Center, 1501 Cherry St.
We will briefly hear from a panel of organizers who will share their experiences navigating the conditions of 2024 with resilience, including where they struggle. We will also get into small groups to share lessons and challenges with each other. Come ready to share your stories and challenges!
