OUR OFFERINGS SET US APART
The Organizing Center is a training home for organizers and organizations working to build a base, and the power of, Black and Brown, poor and working class, women and gender-oppressed people. Our offerings develop the fundamental skills of organizing (like one-on-ones and leadership development) as well as the resilience practices that support organizers to meet their organizing and political commitments for the long-haul. All of our work is rooted in the belief that people power is necessary for us to win and possible for us to build.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
Sometimes you need one-on-one support. Coaching sessions are designed to meet each organizer at their current level. Whether you are a new organizer who could use support to develop a work-plan or debrief organizing conversations, or you are a more experienced organizer looking to develop long-term campaign plans or to become a better supervisor we have the experienced, coaches to help you reach the next level.

CUSTOMIZED WORKSHOPS
We know that our public workshop offerings will not meet all of your organization's needs. Customized workshops are for your organization if:

You are a base building organization (or support base building organizations) that primarily work(s) with Black and Brown, poor and working class, women and gender-oppressed people

You want to have more time to practice organizing skills like one-on-one conversations or leadership development

You want to develop a strategy or a power map for a specific campaign

Your campaign challenges are regionally specific and need to be addressed in more detail

We are offering both in-person and virtual learning spaces. Please reach out to schedule a time to talk through your needs with an Organizing Center staff member
ORGANIZING DEEP DIVES
Support and accountability are necessary to transition to, or maintain, a strong organizing program that is resilient and powerful. We work with organizations for 3-12 months, diving deep into the challenges of growing and maintaining base building and a team of organizers. This program is right for you if you want to make a long-term commitment to support across multiple staff in your organization. This must include at least one person a decision-making and/or supervisory level in organization to ensure what we work on together will be carried forward. ​We're ready to help you expand your base, develop leadership, and build power.
