Women Leading the Way

2021 Peer Learning Lab:

April- September 2021, 4th Saturday from 12- 3 pm

Applications Due: March 29, 2021

Organizing can feel isolating and limiting, especially in the first few years. So often organizers, especially in smaller organizations, face a lack of partnership, mentorship and practical skills training needed to achieve their vision of systemic change. The Organizing Center seeks to address these issues by offering this Peer Learning Lab, a safe space where women organizers can bring their full selves and develop tools to stay in organizing for the long-haul.

Overview
Women Leading the Way is a 6-month program for women-identified Philly organizers who have at least 2 years of organizing experience to develop skills, build relationships and receive coaching and mentorship from more experienced organizers. This will be an intimate group with no more than 12 participants. Participants will meet once per month and will have the opportunity to drive their own learning by proposing topics to receive training on and sharing their experiences with other. This peer learning lab is being facilitated by Christi Clark, A'Brianna Morgan and Eboni Taggart.
